Hi,

My name is Josbel and I am originally from Venezuela.

Though I am the one making all your beautiful orders, it would be unfair not to mention the rest of the ChiXclusive team: 

* My lovely husband who helps with the administration, maintains the website, serves as my technician and most importantly looks after our 2 boys while I am busy making your orders.

* My 2 boys, as my crafting got serious about 5 years ago when our oldest son was born. My boys are my big inspiration and perhaps that's the reason why I enjoy making pieces for kids so much.

Always a crafter? Not at all!

I hated crafting or making things with my hands. My sister, who always had the magical touch to make amazing things, was the one making my arts class homework! I was terrible at it.

I actually went to university to study something completely unrelated. I have a degree in international commerce. I worked for years in supply chain management and logistics operations in pharmaceutical labs. Here in the Netherlands I also worked as a supply chain planner.

But as I wrote earlier, everything changed when I became a mom. My sister, who is also my teacher, was surprised that I made the decision to make crafting a serious business. 

As my mom taught me: if you are going to do something you have to do it well! So I started taking courses, not only with my sister (who's an amazing teacher @lorna_tarjeteria) but also with others, to look for my own style and to make sure that I learn the techniques correctly. All to ensure that what I'm going to make for my customers is of the highest possible quality. 

I like things that are different and for that reason I always try to challenge myself, most of the times you will get something new from me or a surprise in your order because I love it when my customers write things to me like "it's beyond expectations" or "waanzinnig mooi". That is my drive to do even better!
